I started reading The Toymakers around Christmas but I couldn’t get into it. I may try again though! I hope you have a better experience with it!

Oh that’s annoying and a shame you didn’t enjoy it. That’s why I usually get books from authors I am new to from the library. Just in case!

I bought it on Kindle and was only a couple of quid, but that’s definitely a good idea! I may start doing that in the future!

I’ve read Red Rising and loved it. All Systems Red, Nevernight and The City of Brass are all on my TBR! And thanks to the cover leading me to click it, I just added The Gutter Prayer too!

I recently picked up a copy of the Gutter Prayer. It sounds amazing. Hopefully we’ll both enjoy it.

I am reading The Gutter Prayer right now, and it is super dense but also pretty good.
All Systems Red is A+ and I definitely recommend it. I would protect Murderbot at all costs.
Red Rising was good, but very violent and gorey. So just a warning if that bothers you.
Vicious, Nevernight,The Candle and the Flame, and City of Brass are also on my TBR list!

Ooooh great list! I’m currently reading city of Brass and am liking it quite a bit, despite how slow the beginning is! I also have the Toymakers, Vicious, and the Candle and the Flame on my tbr! Red Rising has been on my tbr ever since it released years ago, so I hope to get to it some day! 😂

Yeah some books end up on your TBR and stay there for years! It’s a bit frustrating, but there is only so much reading you can do.

City of Brass is an amazing fantasy. The world-building is incredible. I hope you get an opportunity to read it soon.

Definitely recommend The Gutter Prayer! It was unlike anything else I’ve read in fantasy, honestly.

Yes! I’m currently reading The Gutter Prayer and it is good so far. Really enjoying it, even if some of the creatures are terrifying.
