Hey everyone!
I Hope everyone is having a good day. I saw this book tag the other day on The Tattooed Book Geek and thought it might be a little bit fun. Plus, it gets me back involved in doing more blogging as I am aware it has dropped off a bit recently due to real-life being HECTIC at the moment!
Anyway, here goes:
Inside flap/Back of the book summaries: Too much info? Or not enough?
I’m gonna have to be really exciting and sit on the fence with this one. Blurbs are, imo, pretty good at striking the right balance between enticing you into picking up a story and giving away the whole story.
New book: What form do you want it in? Be honest: Audiobook, E-Book, Paperback, or Hardcover?
Paperback. Hardback are more durable, but not as practical for carrying around (plus dust jackets are a bit annoying!) and E-Books just don’t have the same magic as actually holding a book. I can’t really comment much on Audiobooks as I have only used them a few times, but they haven’t clicked for me… The words don’t seem to go in and I forget everything!
Scribble while you read? Do you like to write in your books, take notes, make comments, or do you keep your books clean clean clean?
I keep my books clean, thank you very much. I’ll make any notes for my reviews in my ‘book review notes’ notebook.
Does it matter to you whether the author is male or female when you’re deciding on a book? What if you’re unsure of the author’s gender?
Come on… It’s 2019, folks. This kind of stuff doesn’t matter at all.
Ever read ahead? or have you ever read the last page way before you got there?
I don’t get it… That could ruin surprises (good or bad) in the story! Not knowing is half the excitement.
Organised bookshelves, or outrageous bookshelves?
Ooooh… I have to admit to outrageous bookshelves. Not completely outrageous, though. There is some form of order there, but it is quite loose. Sorry! I know a lot of you guys have very neatly presented bookshelves, but that’s not me!
Have you ever bought a book based on the cover (alone)?
Not that I am aware of! I’ve picked up a book and read the blurb based on a cover, but if it doesn’t interest me then I’m not buying it. I’m not 100% confident here though… Maybe my mind is blanking out something!
Take it outside to read, or stay in?
Read in the vast majority of the time. Because of British weather. Enough said? That’s just practicalities as I do like reading outside, but still, nothing beats getting under the duvet and reading, imo.

There you have it, one Inside and Out Book Tag completed! I’m not going to tag anyone specific in this one as, quite frankly, I only want people to do this post if they want to. So, if you want to do this: consider yourself tagged!
I haven’t got the hang of these tags yet, have I!

You cannot imagine how happy I was to see you did the tag as well ( I saw it on Drew´s blog a few minutes ago ). I LOVED your answers. First answer is very well said. I´ve decided you´re my new best friend after answer #2. As for answer #3: *giving you virtual high five for keeping things neat* Last answer- I agree. Nothing really beats getting comfy. Thank you for this.
